Before Aperture, there was a first adventure: the 2021 French Robotics Cup, which we took part in with the R2T2 association as part of our studies at Avignon University. Here is a look back in pictures at those few days in July spent in La Roche-sur-Yon.

Sail the World

That year, the robots went to sea: on the table, red and green cups to sort into the harbours, plus a lighthouse and a compass to know which harbour to return to. It was a rather special edition too, held in the middle of the health crisis, with masks for everyone.

From the stand to the game table

For several days, we shuttled between our stand, where we repaired, reprogrammed and recalibrated until the very last minute, and the match table, in front of the referees, the crowd and the cameras.

That experience is what makes us want to come back today, this time with our own association.
