This website is deliberately minimal: it uses no cookies, no advertising trackers and no forms.

The data controller is the Aperture association, whose contact details are given in the legal notice.

Audience measurement

We measure traffic with Cloudflare Web Analytics, a tool that sets no cookies and cannot identify you. It only provides aggregate statistics: number of visits, pages viewed, country of origin. This measurement is based on our legitimate interest in understanding the website’s audience in order to improve it.

Hosting

Our host, Cloudflare, technically processes requests sent to the website (including IP addresses) in order to serve it and protect it against attacks. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in running the website and keeping it secure.

When you write to us

If you contact us by email, we use your address and the content of your message only to reply to you and, where relevant, to follow up on a partnership: this processing is carried out at your request. This information is never passed on to third parties. It is kept for as long as our exchanges require, and no longer than three years after our last contact.

Transfers outside the European Union

Our service providers are American companies: Cloudflare (hosting, audience measurement, email forwarding) and Google (our Gmail mailbox). Your data may therefore be processed in the United States. These transfers are covered by these companies’ certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognises as providing an adequate level of protection.

Donations

Online donations are handled directly by our bank, on its own payment page. We never have access to your bank details.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you can access, correct or delete your data, and object to its processing, by writing to contact@aperture-asso.org. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.
